Plans are adjusted as recovery progresses, ensuring that each stage of care remains aligned with the patient’s functional goals.

Patients are supported throughout their recovery journey, from initial consultation to post-treatment follow-up. This includes monitoring recovery progress, guiding rehabilitation milestones, and coordinating care across different stages of treatment.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is my condition serious enough for a visit to a specialist orthopaedic doctor?

If you’re experiencing persistent pain, stiffness, or reduced mobility that interferes with daily life or physical activity, it may be time to consult a specialist. Conditions affecting your bones, joints, or muscles, especially those that don’t improve with rest, warrant assessment by an orthopaedic doctor.
During your initial consultation, the orthopaedic doctor will review your medical history, assess your symptoms, and perform a physical examination. Additional imaging tests may be recommended. You’ll then discuss treatment options, which could include non-surgical approaches or, when appropriate, orthopaedic surgery.
It’s best to pause or modify activities that cause discomfort to avoid further injury. Continuing sports while in pain, especially knee, hip, or shoulder discomfort, can worsen the issue. Conditions like knee arthritis often require a tailored approach to exercise and treatment.
Not always. Many musculoskeletal conditions can be managed with rest, physical therapy, and other non-surgical methods. Surgery is considered when symptoms persist despite conservative treatment. You’ll discuss all available options with your doctor to make an informed decision.
